contraction. Michael doesn't seem to be in any pain

| Diana got to the hospital to be checked around 5pm. Michael met her at the hospital. |
They told Diana to do some walking around to help labor progress. At first she
felt like clowning around and then.......OUCH!

5:15pm Arrived at hospital. Diana is very nervous that this might be false labor
6:55pm Diana has been admitted to Labor and Delivery at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley. She is definitely in labor.
Michael, Amy and Paula are with her at this time. Jessica came a little later.
9:45pm Contractions are getting stronger but they still expect it to be a while so they gave her pain meds.
11:00pm Contractions are slowing down so the DR has come in and has decided to give Pitocin. That should be
happening soon and should help speed things up.
11:50pm Diana gets Pitocin.
1am - no changes. Diana is anxious to have things move faster. Baby has her own ideas.
1:05am Boy things change quickly. They decided to do an exam and during it they broke her water and immediately
the contractions got harder. The tears started. They ordered the epidural. Diana is 4cm.
2:30 /Diana gets epidural and feels sooooo much better.
4am - not much happening. Diana is trying to get some sleep but isn't being very successful. Grandpa Bob is here
now.
5am Diana is 9 1/2 centimeters and the baby is right there ready to be born. They figure that in about 45 minutes
she'll start pushing.
5:45am - as predicted, Diana starts pushing.
6AM - AVA IS BORN!
